There comes a time in the life of every dinosaur when certain facts must be faced. We must finally accept that the horse and buggy, kerosene lamps, wax cylinders and the quill and inkwell are outdated technologies and there's no one who can help us fix our antiques when they break down.
What I'm babbling about, in case you haven't figured it out yet, is that this blog is broken and can't be fixed. Apparently it doesn't get along with the current version of MySQL or something. I have already set up a shiny new Wordpress blog and will start posting there within a day or two.
Today I have some real world stuff that will probably take several hours so I won't have much time to work on it today. I will update this post soon, with a link to the new blog. Thank you for sticking with me.
UPDATE: Okay, here's the new place, such as it is. It looks pretty much like everyone else's place right now. I hope I can figure out how to personalize it but I'm fairly clueless at the moment.
I plan to leave this old blog up indefinitely. It's possible I might delete it at some point in the future but it won't be anytime soon.
