Zero Tolerance for Spammers

November 16th, 2009

Are all spammers alike? Maybe not. You might think that someone selling something like, say, violin strings, who left an almost legitimate sounding comment would be more likely to get away with it than spammers pushing certain unmentionable products. And yes, I was tempted to ignore it but nobody is named “buy violin strings”, not even as a nickname. It might help to not be so obvious. Or it might not. Clumsy attempts at subtlety are often even more annoying. Bottom line: all on-topic comments are welcome but the URL space is intended for your personal, non-commercial site.
