The idea of using a mechanical device to aid in the effort to get in shape is nothing new. Take a look at these antique fitness machines. Some of those look pretty scary. On the other hand, I would rather use those than one of the modern machines that talk to you. They keep showing commercials for that fancy treadmill device that has the voice of Jillian Michaels. I suppose they’re mostly trying to motivate the guys but why not offer something for us gals too? Give me the voice of Patrick Stewart or James Earl Jones and, yeah baby, I’d exercise regularly.
