I like this. (I was going to put it here but embedding is not allowed.) The English horn is one of my favorite instruments but there isn’t much music written specifically for it. We mostly hear it in beautiful little moments.

I liked it very much. Handel did some very nice things that aren’t listened to very often; you might like also his keyboard suites (EMI Classics: Andrei Gavrilov and Sviatoslav Richter).
I’ve heard it said the English horn is the most mis-named instrument, since it isn’t English and it isn’t a horn!
