This is going to be fun. Understand, I’m saying this as a person who likes to watch the show from somewhere near the middle. It has nothing to do with my position on any issue. But I must say, this is hilarious. Far Lefty Wal-mart haters who have been telling us we should shop at Target instead because they are more socially responsible have to find somewhere else to shop. After years of snide remarks about ignorant redneck Wal-mart shoppers it is so delightful to see that Target is now the new.. ahem… target.

Oh, good Lord.
If people have to apply a “purity test” to everything, they’re going to soon find out there’s nowhere left for them to shop. Or no composers/musicians left to listen to. Or no movies/tv shows/books left to experience.
I’ve dealt with a few wal-mart haters. I’ve asked them if they preferred I burned an hour’s worth of gasoline to make the round trip to the Kroger’s in the next nearest city. That usually quiets them down, at least while they’re trying to process which option would make me more evil.

I shop at both Walmart and Target. But the Walmart is closer, so I go there more.

I would shop at Target but the nearest one is about 30 miles from where I live.

I typically drive past the nearest Target to get to wal-mart. The local target isn’t open when I do my shopping, 1-3 am. But if they’re making the easily offended mad, I might have to start shopping there.
