When people put me on hold and force me to listen to their music I should be able to force them to listen to my music. That’s only fair, right?
Ever notice that the laundry rooms you see in detergent and fabric softener commercials are always white, neat, perfectly spotless, and as big as the average living room?
If this is true why am I not thinner?
Well, look at that! It seems that someone has resolved all the world’s important controversies.
Even if we are mature enough to understand that life is not fair we never get over the feeling that it is supposed to be.
I changed my mind about wanting to be a cat in my next life. Sure, there would be a lot of perks but hands are just too useful to give up.

If I ran a major retailer, I’d probably do an ad campaign:
“We could have changed our logo. But that would have cost (however much) in focus groups and designers. Instead, for a limited time, we will give all our customers 5% off on all purchases, up to our using up the (however much it would have cost)”
it would be genius, I’m sure it would stimulate sales.
(I don’t shop at the Gap but I saw nothing at all wrong with their old logo. Why bother to change if it still works?)

I don’t think either the old or the new is especially attractive but they should have realized that a great many people can’t handle such an overwhelming change in their lives. (Yes, I’m being sarcastic.)
