This morning I was leaving Walmart and when I tried to unlock my car the remote didn’t work, so I opened the driver’s side door and pushed the button on the inside that unlocks all the doors so I could put my groceries in the back. As soon as I pushed the button the alarm on the big SUV (I think it was a Chevy; wasn’t really paying attention to details) facing my car starts going off. (BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!)
I was sort of hoping that someone else would get pissed and come smash his windshield or something. (That happens, you know) but no one did so I just, as quickly as possible, put my stuff in my car and got in, fastened my seat-belt of course, and as soon as I started the car the alarm on the SUV stopped. Coincidence or evil, electronic gremlins?

It’s different when that happens to me.

Have to be careful doing that with the trooper though – it’s very possible to just climb the hoods of smaller cars.
