Sorry… I just had to! But seriously, can you imagine? I’m not sure if this would be a good thing or not. Do we really want logic in our lives?

I fear that “logic” is one of those words where every individual thinks it means something a little different (at least, in re: politics.). Sort of like “compassion” and “patriotism” get defined differently depending on political affiliation. So a goodly proportion of the U.S. would be upset by a “logical” president, as he wouldn’t fit what they thought “logic” meant.
Also, I suspect that a president that operated on the basis of sheer cold logic would turn out not to be something we wanted. (“Watson” for President, anyone? “I’m sorry, Dave, but I can’t do that…”)
Then again, too much illogic is bad too.

We could do worse.
And it’s probably a safe bet that we will, too.

He’d probably be a good President, unless he had to deal with Pon Farr issues in the middle of his term.

I feel I should point out… Spock couldn’t be president, he wasn’t born in the US.
And if I read “But Obama blah blah birth certificate blah blah” I’m going to stab said commenter in the eye with a rusted pipe.
