Hm. Fairly sure that last one is an unattributed Christopher Moore quote. My aunt read me a FB post (I think that is where it was) where he excoriated folks for getting bent out of shape when authors reveal they have political leanings. It was a most excellent rant.

I googled too and I didn’t find it, either. But I know she read me that same line when I visited her over Labor Day.
