Pretty Grievances keeps tempting me with patterns. First, a while back, it was McCall’s 6520. I’m looking at the view with the raglan sleeves. I don’t know about that neckline on me and I don’t like the shirt-tail hem but I’ve had such a hard time finding a good raglan sleeve pattern. Most of them these days are not quite a true raglan sleeve (or what I think of as a true raglan sleeve) but more something between a raglan and a saddle shoulder. I’m picky, okay?
Oh and isn’t that absolutely the cutest fabric that she used to make her’s? I’m happy to see that I’m not the only crazy person to use quilting cotton to make dresses. Although, I didn’t know it was all that crazy until just recently, when I started seeing certain comments about it.
Then there’s this. I think that’s also a McCall’s pattern? I love it and if the local Walmart still carried McCall’s patterns I would have it already. Of course I would make it a little longer than the one shown on the model and, as I mentioned in the comments over there, I’m sure I would have to cut it a little wider to fit over my big fat ass ample hips. (Actually, to be brutally honest, it’s not so much the butt as it’s the gut.) But anyway… don’t need it, must have it.

I think we need to do a Dita Trench sewalong!
