Well, I guess a new season of The Biggest Loser has started? I don’t watch it but I can’t avoid the commercials. But they no longer annoy me as much as they used to. Whenever one comes on I just picture Jillian Michaels in a cage match with Holley Mangold. My thanks to Number Two Son for suggesting that mental image.

Ok this is odd… I needed to look up Jillian Michaels, not Holly Mangold. I already knew who she was.

I’m not surprised and that’s one of the many reasons I’m proud of you – you know all the right names – but I expected that most people would know who Jillian Michaels is, if only because she’s so annoying, but few people remember Olympic athletes in the less popular sports.

I suppose some people are motivated by being screamed at and belittled. But I don’t want to watch them being so, and I wish I could avoid the commercials too. Being screamed at to do something is one of the things that would be WORST for me – I’d probably wind up with an eating disorder out of trying to “please” the person screaming at me.
