A list of things caused by global warming. It’s a list of links to articles about climate change. Unfortunately the creator of the page seems not to know about the br tag. Actually I think the idea is to overwhelm the reader with the number of alleged effects of global warming but my eyes get tired of trying to read it before I get through the first line.
I think there are a couple of things going on with climate change reporting. First, the media reports every tidbit of scientific speculation they can get their hands on and dresses it up to sound like Really Important News and second, a large number of the people reading these “news” articles interpret words like “might” and “could” to mean “will” which makes the whole idea of global warming or climate change seem all the more scary to believers and all the more ridiculous to skeptics.

Mildly amusing list. The problem I have with global warming alarmist isn’t that they are wrong (who knows for sure, really?) but that the opposition uses their skepticism as an excuse for complete apathy. Whether or not the earth is going to implode under the weight of the suns rays isn’t as important as simply taking care of the planet because it’s the right thing to do.
And it isn’t even just about the planet, if I had more time I could ramble on about what American corporations are doing to our neighborhoods, cities, water supply, and so on. Frankly, even if you believe 100% in the climate change dire predictions, it’s even odds whether the sun will kill us before American industry does.

Yeah, that’s a good point but I think humanity is going to stick around for quite some time. Now civilization… sometimes I’m not too sure about that.
