Here’s the latest thing I’ve been working on. I am making a little pair of pants out of soft, rust color corduroy to go with it and I probably should have waited to show off both together but… well, here ya go.
This pattern has two things that I do not love to sew: a curved yoke and a Peter Pan collar. What can I say? I was overcome by the cute. It turned out so not perfect but she who will wear it will be so cute no one will notice, right?
Next, after the little pants? I don’t know. I still have half a dozen things that I want to sew right now. And, to further complicate matters, as I was fondling all the fabric to see if one of the pieces would whisper, “Make me next,” some of the fall fabrics started looking very attractive to me. We have another two months of summer and possibly two or three weeks more after that before I will want to wear long sleeves so I will force myself to ignore those for now.
Something sort of funny (Is this weird?) I’ve started thinking about what I want to wear to meet my new granddaughter. It should be something bold and pretty, which shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
