Emma over at Fed by Birds says January 10th was de-lurking day. That’s funny… I thought it was… I don’t know, some other time. August, maybe? So I decided to google it and found a few blogs that had delurking day back in October. It seems de-lurking day can be anytime you want it to be, which makes sense.

I don’t like delurking day myself. No one ever de-lurks. There’s nothing wrong with lurking but if you have an official Day for De-lurking it makes me expect at least a few anonymous “hi there”s and when I don’t get them I sort of start to feel like I’m back in jr. high school – the girl with no friends. Anyway here there is no de-lurking day or every day is de-lurking day. Lurk all you want; de-lurk any day you want to.
